Jericoacoara is situated in the north east of Brazil. Jericoacoara is an ideal, all year round holiday destination, with sunshine everyday and warm inviting seas. Jericoacoara experiences strong, thermal winds for over six months of the year. Which means guaranteed windsurfing every day. Kitesurfing has a longer season; and when there is no wind you can surf. Jericoacoara has grown into an international destination with flights from Europe to Fortaleza, the nearest city to Jeri, travel time is being reduced by the construction of new roads and more direct flights every year. Other than watersports, you can relax on the beach out of the wind; make walks along the fantastic sand dunes, and hills that offer splendid views of the area.
Our first project, Casa do John, was developed by John Cox from England. An exclusive development of four apartments located within easy walking distance of the beaches, town centre and Jeri’s excellent choice of restaurants and night life. No other beach town on the north coast can offer you this variety. Many people visit just to chill, practice yoga, capoeria and go out late to the many live music events and parties. Other activities include horse riding, dune buggy tours to the fresh water lagoons, fishing, massage, learning Portuguese and experiencing the Brazilian way of life.
The town is very relaxed with friendly locals who participate in all the beach activities. Crime is very low, and any incident is known by all within minutes. Jeri does not have the same problems of many well known destinations in Brazil, and that is one reason why so many families are now venturing out to Jeri.
Jericoacoara is also surrounded by National Park. The park is a protected area with no development allowed. This means that the town will never become large and over developed. Building regulations restrict the height and type of building. Two storey buildings are permitted, with all roof tops below the height of the coconut trees. These restrictions correlate to a direct growth in investment as land and property becomes more difficult to obtain.
Jericoacoara has been mentioned in many press articles, the most famous making it to top 10 most beautiful beaches in Brazil. One of the latest was released in The Guardian.
Our next project is Serrote Breezes, to be started early 2008, with a completion date early 2009. The quality of finish will be the same as Casa do John, with some improvements in design to take advantage of the weather conditions, wind & sun, and the fantastic views on offer.
